Homemaker-Enhanced

Agape Healthcare Services will provide Homemaker-Enhanced services that allow the person with an intellectual and developmental disability to receive support with household tasks necessary for the person to remain healthy and safe in their home. Enhanced Homemaker Services consist of the same household tasks as described under Basic Homemaker Services with the addition of either habilitation or extraordinary cleaning provided by a qualified homemaker.

Homemaker-Enhanced services will be provided in the person’s home and allow the person to maintain a healthy, safe and clean home environment. Homemaker-Enhanced may involve extraordinary/deep cleaning or habilitation designed to support the person with an intellectual and developmental disability to develop the skills necessary to maintain their living environment. Habilitation involves developing step-by-step instructions and learning strategies designed to assist the person to develop the needed skills to maintain a safe, healthy, and clean home environment. The level of support and training needed or area(s) requiring deep cleaning will be identified in the person’s Individual Plan and approved by the person’s Case Manager/Resource Coordinator.
